Matthew Maier Named FCWP Player of the Month!

Matt Maier plays for our 14 & Under Boys Red team. Through his leadership, the 14 Red’s are currently ranked 3rd in Cal Cup after a second place finish in March’s Turbo Orange County Cup. Matt has been the team’s top player on both offense and defense this year, demonstrating the commitment it takes to become one of the top team’s in Southern California. Earlier this year, Matt participated the Olympic Development Program, competing on the top team from our zone in the March Pacific Coast Regional Championships at the 8th Grade & Under level. His stellar play earned him one of 7 All-Region Awards given to the top athletes from the 12 teams in attendance, as well as an invitation to the 10th Grade & Under National Team Selection Camp where he hopes to earn a spot on the 15 & Under National Team that will travel to Serbia this summer.
