Her collegiate years at Carthage further solidified her passion for the game, laying the foundation for a future immersed in coaching and operations within the water polo community. Elyssa’s roots in the sport extend to her club days with Lyons Aquatics, where she honed her skills and developed a deep appreciation for the intricacies of water polo.

Elyssa’s coaching repertoire is extensive and diverse, spanning various teams and age groups. From Coastal Zone Cadet Girls to Pomona-Pitzer Colleges Men and Women, Webb High School Boys and Girls, Foothill Club 14U and 16U Girls, Foothill Club 16U Boys, SET, Windy City WP, to Lyons Water Polo High School Girls, her coaching prowess has left an indelible mark on each team she has guided.

Her coaching accolades are a testament to her commitment and proficiency in developing winning teams. Elyssa played a pivotal role in guiding Pomona-Pitzer to three consecutive National Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023, a remarkable achievement in collegiate water polo. Additionally, she led teams to JO Qualifications in 2019, 2022, and 2023, showcasing her ability to nurture talent at various levels. In 2019, Elyssa’s coaching expertise also contributed to the MDW 14U League Championship.
